How are we doing?

Hello to all of you,

Erika and I want to start by saying “thank you” so much to all of you. The prayers, love, support, gifts, visits, calls, e-mails and posts on Peter’s page have been “overwhelming.” We will never be able to repay you for how you have made us feel. This is the most difficult thing that we have ever had to deal with. Peter has been absolutely amazing, and Erika and I are drawing strength from him. He has the toughest fight of his life ahead of him and we have been dealt some real difficult circumstances, but we have to believe that God has a plan for Peter. We firmly believe that faith and attitude will play a huge part in Peter winning this fight. So please keep checking Peter’s page and praying, e-mailing, calling, visiting and supporting us as we move forward in this fight. As a coach if you tell me I have as good a chance of winning as the “bad guy,” I will tell that he is going to LOSE! You are all a huge part of Peter”s team and have significant roles on his team. We can’t thank you enough.

Love,

Ty, Erika and Peter Eigner

  1. Ty, Erika & Peter –

We pray for you and read your website daily to keep up on what is happening. The Brainerd community is really behind you and ready to help in Peter’s battle in any way they can. After some reflection, I realized how overcome I have been with work and I want to thank you for reminding me how precious time with loved ones is.

We hope you have some fun toys to play with Peter, and make sure you play lots of jokes on your nurses! That whoopy cushon sounds like it would be the perfect prop! Go Twins!

You are in our thoughts and prayers,
    Holly

  2. Ty-
We pray for strength for you and your family, and comfort and healing for Peter. Miracles happen!

    Peter-
We have not met, but know your dad. Our Katie has three brothers (Ben and Dan in college, and Tim playing junior hockey), when they were a little older than you, they all went to hockey camps instructed by your dad and your uncles, in Rosemount. Can you believe that? They were awsome, and we thank them for it.

    Get well soon.

  3. Dear Peter and family,
I was at the golf tournament this past weekend,”For a childs sake” and heard of your chemo treatments.

I want to let you know that these treatments are kind of boring, but they will help make you get well.

My prayers and best wishes are for you and your family.

  4. Ty –

The hockey coaches and team here at Hamline are thinking of you, Peter and your family. We hope some of the life lessons you teach so well coaching your teams will help you through this challenge.

  5. Hi Peter,
You don’t know me, but I have heard a lot of great things about you!
I know your dad and I am good friends with your grandpa Sig in Milwaukee.
I really liked visiting your web site. I can tell you are a fun person to be around and you are a really good looking kid! You must get your looks from your Mom’s side of the family. (Although you don’t need to tell any of the Eigner men that.)
I just wanted to say that anyone who can get Grandpa Sig to say that he likes the Vikings – is cool by me. Do you like soccer? If you do, you can drive Grandpa Sig even crazier by getting him to say soccer is better than basketball. He loves basketball.
Peter, you have a lot of love and good thoughts coming to you from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, even from people that you don’t even know!
