Welcome Back

Keep Fighting, Pete

What a neat sign. It’s on the Brainerd Ice Arena. Thanks to the sign’s creator(s) and to Sue Peltoma for the photos.

Also, I’ll continue to post updates while the Eigners are home, so stay tuned.

  1. Here it is 6:15 am on a Saturday morning… and where am I? On Peter’s Page, of course! My girls always seem to make their way into our bed at night…. so I usually end up getting minimal sleep…. I am always up early! I just thought I would check out the site before I head over to start selling POP FOR PETER at our garage sale today! I sure hope it doesn’t rain. Pete, maybe you can use your super hero powers and keep the rain away this weekend?!?? Once again, we are all soooo thankful that you will get to spend some family time together at home for awhile. We pray that Peter stays healthy enough as to allow him to remain home until round 2 starts!
We look forward to reading updates from Uncle Matt while you are home, too! I think we’d all be lost without Pete’s Page….
With happy thoughts, Jenni & family

  2. It is amazing how this website becomes part of your everyday routine. Every day we think about Pete, Ty, Erika and the girls. It is such a great place to visit. Pete enjoy your 2 weeks and stay safe. Save your energy for Round 2!! I know you’ve got this in you to beat it!! You are a speical little boy!!

Erika and Ty – DIno said last night “I wonder how good Erika and Ty will sleep tonight being in their own bed, in the own home.”…I hope it was awesome!

  3. Great news, So glad to hear you are home. We got the news at the brat sale at Wal-Mart yesterday. Lots of people stopped to ask about Peter. I’m sure lots more will ask about him today too. Enjoy your time at home. Nothing feels better than your own bed. Hopefully you all will get some rest , and will be ready for round two.

  6. Dear Erika, Ty and Peter,

So HAPPY for you all that you are going home together as a family! Yeah!!! Way to go Eigners! That is a huge goal for Peter! We want to send some special books (hockey) to Peter and we were going to send them to the hospital but it is great news that we can send them to your home instead! We will check for your address Peter!

You will all remain in our daily prayers and thoughts!

  7. Hi Eigners!
We hope your stay at home has been pleasant & restfull so far! The sun managed to shine today, Peter! It was forcasted to rain…. but I think God decided to smile upon us instead…. I think it was His way of saying “Welcome Home!” We certainly hope you were able to get some fresh air today!
Today was the POP FOR PETER sale…. thanks to some very, very generous “Peter Fans”… we will be able to send a nice check in to your benefit fund!! A special thank you goes out to some Eigner supporters who donated items to be sold at the sale! We are all trying to help you in anyway possible!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend…. tomorrow is Parker’s Baptism – we will be sure to say an extra prayer for Peter!

  8. Hey Peter, I miss seeing you everyday but I’d rather have you home than in the hospital. How was your day? Did Mom and Dad have to build an addition on the house for all your stuffed animals and toys? Aunt Nancy and I had a busy day cleaning and catching up on things around my house.
Jack misses Baron. He kept walking around the house looking for him. Has he been a good boy?
Well sleep tight little buddy’ I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Love Gramma Mary

  9. Peter and family,

We are sending love and prayers from our family to yours. We have been checking Peter’s website often (Shon checks it daily from work) and are glad to hear that Pete-man is fighting such a big fight with so much courage. Keep up the good work!

    Love always,
Shon, Lisa, Mara and Eli Roberts

  10. Peter:
I’m so happy to hear you are home, and getting your strength up for round two. There is no way for you to know how many fans you have out here rooting for you in the greatest way. Our churches and congregations have their most powwerful prayers going for you – and for you, Erika and Ty also.
    Every blessing on you, Peter.
    Your pastor,
    Fr. Seamus Walsh
