The Past Year

Some of you might not have seen Peter recently and we keep saying how well he’s doing, so I thought I’d offer some proof. Here are photos from the past year, ending with a few from this very trip that Erika snapped with her phone.

In one picture he’s playing baseball at the Ronald McDonald Day Camp and I heard he hit two home runs. Peter could play baseball all day in the summer, so it’s great to see he took some cuts in the big city.

Another picture shows Peter walking back from the day camp with another little camper and new friend. I understand that they didn’t have to hold hands. They just did.

The biopsy is just hours away as I post this. Outcomes will be shared as they become available. Thanks for all your support.

  3. Hi Erika and Ty – Just checked in to see what’s going on. The kids look beautiful! I love seeing Pete so healthy as you must as well. I’m saying a prayer that the results will be conclusive and benign. I’ll be back in the city this afternoon. I’m here if you need ANYTHING. Much love – Jackie

  4. The kids have grown so much! They are all so beautiful! We have been praying all morning and will continue for as long as Pete needs us; hopefully, that will be a short time and this will be a minor bump in the road.

    Warmest thoughts,

  5. Ty and Erika,

The pictures confirm that you truly have a beautiful family. This period of waiting and uncertainty has to be extremely taxing and difficult for the whole family. We pray that the waiting is over, the test results are favorable and the spots are conclusively benign. It is obvious that all of you, including Peter, have tremendous spirit and are strong fighters.

    God Bless.

  6. Dear Eigners,

The pictures look great! Peter looks like he is having a great time with his friends and family in all of them. We were unfortunate to hear about Peter’s latest updates but are glad he did not have to do an open biopsy. We pray that everything went great in the procedure this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Take good care of each other, we are hoping for the best,
    Mike and family
