  1. Peter and the Eigner/Hanson Families:
We are sure this Thanksgiving Day has some very special and nice meaning for you all. We are so glad to know that life is taking on, at least relative to the craziest of times, some reflection of normal.

It is Thanksgiving Day where we live already, and so today we are thankful Peter for your strength and amazing will – and for everyone who has been part of your healing thus far! My daughters still bless you every night before bed-and they ask how you are doing often too..lately its been excellent to tell them how well you are doing!
    Keep amazing us, young man.
    Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

  2. All the best on a day we have a lot to be thankful for. Sports are a true test of a person’s intangibles. Lifetime relationships are developed over a short period of time because of the dynamics of the sport, demands of the job and the people we have the opportunity to meet through our travels.

The game of hockey is full of people in all capacities who know the value of validating and anointing themselves beyond other’s beliefs, words, feelings and evaluations. We learn early on that we control our own destiny and in no way do others validate our worth and success.

We all recognize the need for support systems in every person’s life, but it still comes down to each of us just ‘getting it done’. Keep supporting each other and the results will be dynamic. We are all part of something much bigger than all of us combined; namely each person’s life and career.

All the best fm ole gringo

  3. Aloha Peter and family,
Just wanted to let you know that we love the picture from the Gala event you attended. You all look great. Ruthie took the appetite enhancer for a few months during treatment too. We called her our little pork chop. Ruthie is getting her wish granted on Dec. 24 to see the snow. We will be in Tahoe for Christmas and New Years. She is getting so excited. Our family continues to keep you in our prayers. Sending lots of love and aloha from Hawaii.

  4. Happy Thanksgiving Eigner Warriors!
We certainly have much to be thankful for…including knowing your family. Congratulations on creating the winning butterfly for CCF! Will you autograph one for us Peter? Love the photo! We aren’t as good at updating the photo file.

Isn’t it fun to pretend life is normal for awhile? We’re loving the illusion even though we have a “new normal”.
We added Gustavo-Alexis to our prayer list-thanks for the heads-up.

    Blessings in abundance to you,
    patti 🙂 et. al.

  5. Oh, it was so much fun to see you, Erika, Ty and Peter, all gussied up and fancy! I hope your thanksgiving was wonderful, warm and filled with the people you love.

  6. Hey guys, I haven’t checked the website in awhile so it was awesome to see how well Peter’s been doing!
Pete’s been so strong through all of this and he deserves the best.
    Keep fighting Pete! :]
