No visible cancer from this scan of his whole torso, head, neck. - Echocardiogram: Negative!
His heart sounds good. - Bone Marrow Biopsy: Negative!
Marrow remains clear. - MIBG: Negative!
Nothing lit up. Nothing.
- Audiogram: Upcoming
Eager to know how his hearing is holding up.
If you’d like more good news this fine Friday, I have some. Peter started radiation yesterday already. They are radiating the tumor bed in his abdomen to make sure it never gets any life back. Ty and Erika were eager to get that underway, but it could only happen when his counts were back up.
Things are otherwise good, as well. He’s been eating enough since being off the TPN “food bags”, but we’re always pushing for more. He announced his new favorite food is spaghetti. Here’s some proof that he’s returning to his active ways.

Great news! We check your website at the salon daily and all of our stylists feel like they know you Peter! We participated in a fund raiser for childhood cancer research where Ruben and some stylists shaved heads for those who raised lots of money for the cause. He wore your bracelet proudly (while buzzing off a local celebrities head of hair!) Your story and bravery has reached so many, so far away…keep up the fight and happy mother’s day to your mom and all your aunties.

All those results have made the perfect Mother’s Day present your Mom or Grandma’s could ask to have! You keep up the great work and make sure you give your Mom, Grandma Hanson, and Grandma Eigner a BIG hug and kiss on Sunday. I will have to say, it is hard not to call your Grandma’s “Ms. Hanson” and “Ms. Eigner”. Your Grandma Hanson was my Choir Director at church and your Grandma Eigner was my teacher. As you know, we need to call our teachers by the proper names!
You are a true inspiration! I hope to one day get to meet you and be able to give you a HIGH FIVE! Anyone who has fought the fight you have deserves that and a lot more!

Wow, what a great report card! I was out of town for a couple days, and got goosebumps when I went on line this morning to catch up. I’m so happy and relieved for all of you – Peter, your family and friends.
