  1. My friend, you are the most adorable little four year old boy I know! Your pipes rock, as does your courage, your strength and your fighting spirit! I am happy that Ellie held the check hostage in the car yesterday ~ it was the perfect excuse to come out and see you three! Happy Holidays, Mr. Pipes!

Peter you look like Sidney Crosby in that shirt. Last night the C I A
Grizzlies (I.M.) skated against Pequiot Lakes for two hours, and they all slept on the way home.

Peter I told you that I would pray for you always, and I still do.
My family and I will pray till you beat those bad guys, and than we will still pray for you and your family. Keep up the good fight . Hope for all good news .

  7. Hi Eigners,
Just want you to know that Peter and his family are at the top of our prayer list this Christmas. Good health for Peter would be the very best Christmas gift for so many people who love you.
We’re happy that all is going fairly well and you will be able to spend Christmas all together in your own home. How wonderful to have so many little ones in your family to make things merry and bright.
Have a wonderful Christmas. God bless all of you.

  9. Hello to ALL the Eigner family,

We hope you are enjoying the gorgeous weather some! I just came in from a walk – I was actually sweating when I got home! Two little fellows were shoveling the rink off at Forestview – I’m thinking it might be a good day for a little skating either today or tomorrow.

We have you in thought and prayer this Holiday Season. May your family time be more precious than ever! We pray for the end of this chapter. And may the New Year begin with positive happenings.

Peter, Ellie and Kate – hope Santa brings you lots of fun things to do. Good luck Peter when you return to fight that path thing!!

    Thinking of you all,
    Ron and Peg

  12. Like that sweatshirt big guy. There are a few special young players on that team and I hope a few more young guys joining them in the future; like maybe Alex Goligoski and Kristopher Letang for starters. We all know about the former Warriors in the fold. Our only hope is they continue to work hard and express their skills with little or no inhibitions and overachieve in their asset categories; something you seem to be able to do @ a young age.

Can you imagine Carl Sneep and Chris Peluso with an opportunity to play with Sid the Kid and his entourage? All they have to do is pay a price that is beyond most of our imaginations to realize that dream. I can think of a few more Warriors with the same potential.

We wish you and your family, plus your extended family of hundreds, Compliments of the Season.

Good things happen to young people with a strong work ethic and pure intentions. Hoping and praying that things turn out the best possible for you! Take every bit of success you enjoy in the journey, as well as all the adversity you go through, and turn it all in to something special, Peter!

With respect and gratitude for your effort to beat this disease in your body and become a quality person with all the substance to be a quality player.

Been a while since I’ve been on your site. Encouraging to see so much interest. Heading back to work, after a short break, tomorrow. Will be in MSP for a couple of days and then on to Boston for a couple. January finds me on a 24 day journey fm Princeton, New Jersey to the prep schools in New England, to Major Junior in the Quebec League, the CHL All Star game in Quebec City, a stop in MSP before going to meetings in Las Vegas and then a short stint in the Minnesota High School scene.

See you along the trail, Pete!

  13. Hey Peter, Merry Christmas!!!

Here’s a silly little poem just for you. Sometimes it’s fun to just be silly.

There is a tuff little hockey player named Pete,
He sometimes loses his balance and falls on his seat,

    He jumps right back up,
    And skates with the puck,

He sure is a tuff one to beat!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year.

P.S. Ty and Erika, Sometimes a bit of Grey Goose is the cause of my
    silliness.

  14. Hi Peter,
Jayden and I hope you had a wonderful holiday. We think about you every day and pray for you every night. You are always in our conversations and thoughts. We tell people about your continued strength and courage. People always ask me how I did it and I really don’t know – you just kinda do! With prayer and your friends and family by your side. My 5 year old Cole would like to meet you when you’re feeling up to it. He is a survivor too! Thinking of you often,
    Bambi and Jayden

  15. You look great Pete….. I hope you did have a great X-Mas. Keep smiling, it’s contagious. love you sooooooooo much. Melissa
